Desire 820HTC announced the Desire 820 at IFA 2014 in Berlin. This is the latest addition to HTC’s mid-range Desire smartphone family.A follow-up to the Desire 815, launched earlier this year, the 820 continues in the same vein with specs with a 5.5 inch display and 720p resolution. What is different is the newer processor. The latest Snapdragon 815 octa-core chip is driving the phone with 1.5GHz and a 1.0GHz cores. HTC also moved up to 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16gb of storage for the device. Rounding out all this is a 13 megapixel rear facing camera with a healthy 8mp front camera and a 2600mAH battery. The Desire 820 will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat, but HTC says it will be updated with Android L, so it will be able to take advantage of its 64 bit processing capability. Add in the classic HTC unibody build and the traditional front-facing speakers that HTC is known for and you have a nicely put together mid-range smartphone.Source: Android Central
