NBC Sports Live Extra – offering free online app access to watch Super Bowl XLIX

News and entertainment channel NBC will be streaming over the Internet for 10 to 11 hours of live content that will include the Super Bowl XLIX for free this Sunday February 1st, 2015. You will be able to watch this live on your PC’s web browser and a dedicated app made by NBC for tablets. Smartphones will be excluded because Verizon Wireless NFL mobile holds exclusive rights for NFL streaming content. In order to stream this content to a smartphone you will need to use Verizon’s dedicated NFL Mobile app. This will be named ‘Super Stream Sunday’ event, it will run starting 12:00 PM EST and end around 10:00 PM EST. Includes pre-game coverage, the full live Super Bowl XLIX, halftime shows, plus post-game show footage. An added episode of The Blacklist will broadcast following the game as well. Viewers will have no need to log into the app on Super Stream Sunday, but in return they only ask that you message them back about how easy authentication is with your time and experience using NBC’s Sports app.
