This guide will show you how to delete a Facebook post within an app (iOS or Android) and on Facebook.com.
Facebook App:
Please refer to THIS updated post to learn how to delete/hide a post via the Facebook App.
- Find the post that needs deleted.
- Swipe across the post (does not matter what direction). If the swipe does not work the first time, try to swipe higher or lower on the post.
- Either a RED Remove button or an “X” will popup.
- Tap the button and if there needs to be a confirmation of deletion, tap the option desired.
Facebook.com:
- Find the post that needs deleted.
- Hover the cursor over the top righthand corner of the post.
- A Star and Edit symbol will appear.
- Click the Edit symbol (the right-side icon).
- Find the Delete option or Hide Post option.
- Click the desired option.
- Confirm if needed.
