How to access and remove Galaxy S5 SIM card

Here is a tutorial of how to access and remove Galaxy S5 SIM card. Follow these steps. Watch the video below for visual aid.

  • Turn off the device
  • Remove the backplate
  • Remove the battery
  • The SIM slot is under the SD Card slot
  • Place the SIM card, gold plates facing down and insert the card straight in
  • There is no click or anything like that, so just make sure it is flush with the edge
  • Install battery
  • Install backplate
  • Turn device on
  • Profit!

To remove the card…

  • Turn off the device
  • Remove the backplate
  • Remove the battery
  • The SIM slot is under the SD Card slot
  • Use your finger or something like a pencil eraser to gently press down and slide out the SIM
  • Install battery
  • Install backplate
  • Turn device on
  • Profit!

    • You must be mistaken, the steps are there. It’s not nice to call someone names. If you’re going to call someone a name, why don’t you use your name instead of anonymous? You’re awfully brave to call someone names on the internet. I doubt you would do so face to face.
