The most affordable quality high capacity portable battery – Cheero Energy Plus

Portable batteries are becoming an essential accessory for everyone with at least a smartphone to own. While some phones do have good battery life, portable batteries let you have the freedom to drain a battery without worry of where you are when the device goes dead. Cheero is one of those companies that help take care of your battery needs. Today they released their new product called the Cheero Energy Plus 12,000mAh mobile battery. Best of all they are only charging (no pun intended) $29.49 for this high capacity battery.

Previously I have reviewed two other products made by Cheero and they quickly became one of my favorite battery companies because of the quality I noticed with their products. I really like the design for one, but they performed really well. There were plenty of times where I used the 10,400mAh battery to charge my Note 3, iPad and OnePlus One and it charge all of the devices in just one charge/cycle. Now there is a 12,000mAh battery to take advantage of.

The extra juice is nice but there are some things that set this battery apart from the rest. First thing I noticed was that it comes with an A/C power adapter. Most of the time companies only include at best one micro USB cable, including Cheero in the past. This time they raise the bar and include an A/C power adapter. Why is that such a big deal? Because rather than searching for an extra adapter to plug into, they include one and is designed to work with the Energy Plus.

Next, the Energy Plus packs 12,000mAh in a relatively small body compared to other mobile batteries. Which is a good thing! Personally, I like to cut down on bulk and this isn’t too too big of a battery to tote around. Now, I’m not the type to carry one of these batteries around in my pockets, but I would use it while traveling. Which brings up another point.

When traveling it’s always best to pack light and only bring essentials. But I like to find a happy medium between packing light and being prepared. The Energy Plus has two ports. One port that is 1A which is good for phones and iPods. The other is 2.1A that supports tablets and light laptops like a Chromebook/Netbook. You’re not gonna have a problem keeping your devices charged no matter if you get a flight delay or stuck in the woods on a camping trip.

Lastly, the price point is spot on. If you have been waiting to buy a mobile battery but didn’t want a low capacity for such a high price, this is your chance to get one for an affordable price. Cheero is selling these new Energy Plus’ for only $29.49 for the first 3,000 units sold. Normally, you’d pay at least $40 for a thicker, heavier mobile battery.

Overall, I like this battery a lot. I love the price and that it is packing 12,000mAh making it the highest capacity battery I have owned. Christmas will sneak up on ya quick and this would make a great stocking stuffer! This is something that everyone with a smartphone should have. Not too mention for those of us living near the Atlantic Ocean in the States, hurricane season is approaching and you never know when a mobile battery like this could come in handy. The power could be out for days, there is a built in flashlight and this will help you keep in communication with authorities and loved ones.
